The María Cano University Foundation is making progress in the search to expand its academic offerings in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. This Thursday, November 18, the Institution began the visit of the academic pair of the Ministry of National Education, Mónica Yamile Pinzón Bernal, who is a physiotherapist, specialist in neurorehabilitation and magister in neurorehabilitation from the Autonomous University of Manizales.

The Institution is committed to the needs generated by alterations in human body movement of neurological origin, presents for review and approval by the Ministry of National Education the Physiotherapy Specialization in Neurorehabilitation in order to promote the quality of life of the population, from the health promotion, disease prevention, comprehensive care and rehabilitation; enabling responses to the diversity, challenges and opportunities in health that the context demands.

The visit is received by the national directives of the Institution, the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Physiotherapy program, it is based on the parameters of decree 1330 of 2019 that regulates the Qualified Registry of higher education academic programs of which Law 1188 of 2008 deals with the quality conditions of the Institutions and programs.
