Mirror Classes Strengthen Academic Collaboration and Internationalization at María Cano
- 14 mayo, 2026
Fundación Universitaria María Cano, Cali campus, continues to strengthen its internationalization and academic cooperation processes through collaborative learning strategies that promote knowledge exchange among higher education institutions.
In this context, new mirror class sessions were developed by professors from the Physiotherapy program, creating spaces for academic dialogue, disciplinary updates, and shared knowledge construction with partner universities across the country.
One of the activities was led by professor Tallia Araujo Morales in collaboration with Universidad del Sinú, focusing on the topic “Physiotherapeutic Assessment and Treatment of Cerebral Palsy in Children.” This session enabled the exchange of academic experiences and strengthened knowledge related to evaluation and physiotherapy intervention processes in pediatric populations.

Likewise, professor Jefferson Andrés Oviedo Gómez conducted a mirror class together with Universidad de Valledupar, centered on the topic “Exercise Prescription,” promoting spaces for analysis and academic updating regarding intervention strategies from the perspectives of physiotherapy and human movement sciences.
These initiatives encourage interdisciplinary learning and academic exchange between professors and students, strengthening professional competencies, critical thinking, and collaborative work within increasingly connected and global educational environments.
Through these experiences, Fundación Universitaria María Cano reaffirms its commitment to innovative, dynamic academic education aligned with current higher education trends and the needs of the healthcare sector.
