Mónica Alexandra attends the Global Faculty Week in Mexico

Monica Alexandra Cadavid Buitrago, professor of the Psychology program at Maria Cano, is one of the 20 international professors selected by Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico to participate in the Global Faculty Week 2020, a program in which more than 200 academics from around the world applied. The initiative consists of a week of academic activities, from February 23rd to 29th of this year, by foreign professors aimed at Mexican students on the Queretaro campus. Global Faculty Week, promoted by TEC of Mexico, is an annual program that promotes international faculty mobility in order to strengthen the academic training of its students in areas such as: international business, financial accounting, marketing, engineering, digital arts, among other programs offered by this institution.
Professor Monica Alexandra Cadavid Buitrago will give classes and conferences to students of the Business Sciences, Humanities and Education schools on topics such as mental health, work psychology, business management skills, psychosocial risk factors and inter-group relations. This experience allows the chosen academics to broaden their vision in an interdisciplinary and multicultural environment, by having also the opportunity to carry out exchanges and developing networks with colleagues from all over the world.
In this way, The Maria Cano consolidates its international relationship with prestigious institutions in the world, where the importance of academic quality that characterizes the action through the strategic lines of academic quality, relationship with the environment and institutional management is highlighted. In the last year, The Maria Cano has increased its participation in international activities with students, professors and collaborators by nearly 350%, which represents a great transformation in the approach to different cultures and the internationalization of knowledge for the benefit of the university community.
