We continue to report the progress of the work carried out by our travelers in Turkey in recent weeks, for this reason María Cano socializes a new experience that has been obtained during this trip. One of the specialized industries in that country is the maquila and leather production, where many luxury and first-line brands are produced worldwide. The participants of the María Cano within the framework of the academic mission to that country had the opportunity to attend a space for interaction with the Freya Russo company in which they learned about the production of leathers and the diversification of products that are made through of the same, thus achieving to know not only the processing of the material but also to understand how the international marketing and distribution businesses move, likewise they were able to participate in a parade of the garments of the latest collection within the company.

One of the main objectives of this international internship led by the María Cano University Foundation is to guarantee the interaction of the participants with the academic, cultural, gastronomic, economic, social and production worlds, which generates the development of skills that allow them to know how to act in the face of different cases and events that are successful in the world, to analyze the possibility of replication in the local context. This topic is part of glocality, which the Institution presents in its institutional philosophy.
