More quality and commitment to accreditation in Cali Campus
- 2 marzo, 2020

Cali Campus staff works to acquire the high quality accreditation of the Physiotherapy program. The university community is committed to highlighting all the factors that frame this process, where it is notable the teamwork of administrators, professors, students, graduates, strategic allies and the society impacted by two decades of professional training in this important department of the country. They all are working to plan, educate and organize all the aspects to demonstrate the great work done by The Maria Cano for the country and Valle del Cauca. This teamwork is made up by Campus coordinator, Nestor Alonso Perlaza Ruiz, along with internship coordinator, Monica Maria Tabares Rojas, and professors Carmen Lorena Murillo Panameño, Wilmer Arley Criollo Lopez, Iris Lamar Zarama, Julian Ceron Bedoya, Esther Julia Fernandez, Etni Johanna Giraldo, Leydin Carolina Vasquez and Catalina Jimenez Cerquera.
In the most recent meeting, all the aspects related to self-evaluation of the Physiotherapy program were analyzed, and a detailed and critical view was taken into account in the balancing exercise of the different characteristics and accreditation factors, with the objective of being submitted to the recognition granted by the Ministry of National Education. It is always important to consider all the elements used to evaluate the quality in each of the actions that accompany, in the training process, those who have trusted in The Maria Cano for their professional qualification and the impact they have on society.
In this way the institution, in Cali Campus, as well as in Medellin, Neiva, Popayan and Mariacanovirtual, continue with the growth and improvement projects to keep standing out and achieving all the goals set out in the Development Plan 2017 – 2026 «Building the future», where the accreditation plays a leading role for all those who are part of the center of higher education.
