The Popayán branch of the María Cano University Foundation continues to strengthen its alliances with the different institutions of the capital of the department of Cauca and the entire region of southwestern Colombia. This is how a meeting was held with the Secretary of Education of Popayán and with the directors of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús – Salesianas Educational Institution, where work actions were analyzed that allow students to be accompanied in their professional selection process and provide attention to young people in the areas of health offered by the Institution in this important area of ​​the country.

The commitment of María Cano, to accompany these educational processes of the new generations that are preparing to take on the challenge of guiding Colombia along the path of development and consolidation in the short, medium and long term; It is fundamental because it aligns with the vision that this study center has of being an inclusive and supportive institution that prepares impeccable human beings through educommunicative processes to facilitate the development of leadership and access to higher education.

In this way, the coherence of the work carried out by María Cano in the different locations where it is present is once again evident: Medellín, Cali, Neiva, Popayán and the Mariacanovirtual campus to bring knowledge, academic training, professional preparation, continuous training , research and social projection to all the inhabitants of Colombia.
