The physiotherapy program of the María Cano, Popayán campus, carries out national mobility with the physiotherapy program of the Mariana University of the city of Pasto, through the participation of the professor of that institution, Rosa Helena Eraso, who guided a class of rehabilitation of the temporomandibular joint to the students of sixth semester of the Institution in the capital of Cauca. Similarly, the professor who is a member of the university community, Jesús David Perafán, worked with students from Nariño, Gabriela Basante, Jessica Chávez, Ricardo Daniel Arciniegas, Angela María Ávila, Jair Emanuel Gómez; which strengthens the ties and relationship with the academic community.

The Colombian College of Physiotherapists – COLFI, also led the academic activity of Updating Physiotherapy in Colombia, a training space in which issues of clinical history and informed consent, bill 052, the union strategic plan and the benefits of affiliation to COLFI and ASCOFI; This work was carried out jointly between the Physiotherapy programs of María Cano and the University of Cauca, in their continuous action for the positioning of the profession in the country.

Likewise, the participation of the coordinating professor of the Specialization in Public Health, from the Popayán campus, Ángela Giovanna Caicedo, in the academic event: Regional Framework of Teaching Competences in Public Health organized by the Association of Schools and Health Programs Public and the Pan American Health Organization, where the work of the María Cano professional was highlighted for her quality, experience and knowledge of the sector.

In this way, María Cano continues to stand out for the excellence of human talent in the southwest of Colombia.
