In recent days, the María Cano University Foundation received a visit from two educational institutions, one national and one international, which strengthened the relationship and complemented the interdisciplinary work of the actions of the different academic programs. One of the first visits was from the Ibero-American University Corporation, with which María Cano has had an agreement for several years and with which it works from the Speech Therapy program on topics related to the communication of deaf and deafblind people. Those who accompanied the visit by the visiting institution were Carmen Sastre and Claudia Martínez, teachers of the speech therapy program, who, within the framework of the speech therapist day, gave presentations, a master class and a sign language workshop aimed at the students. of the flagship program and leader of María Cano.

On the other hand, the Faculty of Health Sciences headed by its dean Juanita Sánchez, received the administrators of the Autonomous University of Baja California, who visited María Cano to carry out joint and cooperative work between the two institutions, with a view to a relationship where knowledge and the exchange of knowledge are the starting point. Juan José Callejas Núñez, deputy director of the Faculty of Sports and Roberto Espinoza Gutiérrez, coordinator of extension and linkage, on behalf of the Autonomous University of Baja California, interacted with the team of directors of the Faculty of Health, who expressed their strategies on how project the programs, even with the purpose of setting a goal of a double degree from the programs homologous to the María Cano.

The International Relations Office continues to accompany and motivate each of the planned visits, which allow the operationalization of agreements and the materialization of strategies that give life to the internationalization of the curriculum by the Institution.
