In ceremonies that took place at the Plaza Mayor Convention and Exhibition Center, the María Cano University Foundation in the city of Medellín, presented to society a new group of graduates from the Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, Business Administration, Accounting programs Public, Software Engineering, Specialization in Health Services Administration, Specialization in Comprehensive Early Childhood Care, Specialization in Audiology, Specialization in Occupational Health Management, Specialization in Senior Management and Specialization in Human Talent Management.

A total of 346 undergraduate and postgraduate graduates showed that academic training is the best way to achieve excellence and contribute directly to the growth and development of the country. Throughout its almost 36 years of life in different regions of Colombia, the María Cano University Foundation is committed to quality, service and the delivery of the best professionals in their specific areas of training and who are now a fundamental part of the institutional history.

The words were given by the Academic Vice Chancellor, Jorge Albeiro Herrera Builes, who stressed that «here is the true meaning of being a graduate of María Cano, from now on you are respected men and women who are committed to the well-being of all Colombians, who from their professional actions, must ensure constant progress, community development, the correct actions in all their acts and for having an impeccable way of thinking, where no space is given for the slightest fact that is not linked to the correct exercise of their functions as exemplary people and professionals. Please look your loved ones in the face and always, at all times, make them feel proud of their work and the way they put their profession at the service of the common good».
