December 1st was celebrated at all the María Cano campuses, with private graduation ceremonies for the Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, Business Administration, Public Accounting, Software Engineering, Electromedicine Technologies and specializations in Occupational Health Management, Audiology, Comprehensive Early Childhood Care and Public Health. In this way, María Cano delivered to society 51 new professionals and specialists who are ready to contribute to the growth and consolidation of Colombia from their different areas of academic training.

The ceremonies were held in the cities of Medellín, Cali, Neiva and Popayán, with the accompaniment of the leaders Jorge Albeiro Herrera Builes, Carlos Julio Escobar Noreña, Andrés Gutiérrez Villa, Néstor Alonso Perlaza Ruiz, Diana María Salazar Rojas and Angélica María Zuluaga Street; who expressed the great institutional satisfaction for fulfilling the country, with academic training framed in principles of respect, equity, excellence, leadership, transparency and responsibility.

The María Cano University Foundation with a presence in local, regional and national contexts; committed to social projection in the development of teaching, research and extension; and aimed at training people with critical thinking, social commitment and glocal vision. The Institution was created as a tribute to María de los Ángeles Cano Márquez, considered the first female political leader in Colombia.
