Occupational Profile

Our Academic Knowledge in English Program for levels A1, A2, B1, and B2, under the regulations of Education for Work and Human Development, aims to comprehensively develop linguistic, sociolinguistic, pragmatic, and general competencies at these levels. Below is a description of the profile for each level:

A1:
At this level, the English user will be able to understand and use common everyday expressions and simple phrases aimed at satisfying immediate needs. Additionally, they will be able to introduce themselves and others, ask for and give basic personal information about their home, belongings, and people they know. They will also be able to engage in basic communication, as long as the conversation partner speaks slowly and clearly and is willing to cooperate.
A2:
At this level, the English user will be able to understand frequently used phrases and expressions related to areas of experience that are particularly relevant to them (basic information about themselves and their family, shopping, places of interest, occupations, etc.). They will be able to communicate when carrying out simple, everyday tasks that require only straightforward exchanges of information on familiar or routine matters. They will also be able to describe in simple terms aspects of their past, environment, and immediate needs.
B1:
At this level, the English user will be able to understand the main points of clear, standard language texts on familiar subjects, whether related to work, study, or leisure. They will be able to handle most situations that may arise during a trip to areas where the language is spoken. They will be able to produce simple, coherent texts on familiar topics or subjects of personal interest. Additionally, they will be able to describe experiences, events, wishes, and aspirations, as well as briefly justify their opinions or explain their plans in English.
B2:
At this level, the English user will be able to understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, even if they are of a technical nature, as long as they are within their field of expertise. They will be able to interact with a sufficient degree of fluency and naturalness, allowing communication to take place effortlessly in the foreign language. They can produce clear, detailed texts on a variety of topics, as well as defend a viewpoint on general topics, indicating the pros and cons of different options.
