Organizational climate assessment at the Hospital Mental de Antioquia

The Psychology program of the Fundación Universitaria María Cano conducted the measurement and dissemination of the results of the organizational climate assessment for the Hospital Mental de Antioquia, as part of the service-learning agreement.
The process began in November 2024 and recently concluded on March 11 of the current year, with the presentation of the results to the management team and other collaborators and service providers of the hospital institution.
Throughout this process, phases such as staff sensitization for the study, application and evaluation using the instrument, and finally, the analysis of the results and their presentation to the organization were carried out.
For the study, the organizational climate measurement instrument, developed internally by the program’s research team in collaboration with Grupo Humano Consultores, was implemented. This instrument was derived directly from a research project in which the tool was designed and adapted for the Colombian population.
In this context, the Fundación Universitaria María Cano had the opportunity to integrate research with extension processes, providing services for the well-being of the community. In this case, the various collaborators who are part of the Hospital Mental de Antioquia, conducting ethical, responsible, and scientific evaluation processes for the mental health and well-being of the individuals within the organization.
