Our commitment to Peace #MásMaríaCano

The María Cano University Foundation from the Office of Institutional Wellbeing and its Human Development Coordination in each of the venues, during the week in which they worked together on a series of reflective activities around the theme of peace building. Through workshops, virtual tours of the House Museum of Memory of the city of Medellín and as a closing the «Chair for Peace»; where the guests Jorge Rojas Rodríguez (Bogotá), Andrea Jiménez (Neiva), Steven Ospina (Cali) and Henry Holguín (Medellín), under the moderation of the Vice-Rector of Extension and Social Projection, Carlos Julio Escobar Noreña, were talking about racking of your work and personal experience; the role of young people and their active role in society; and the university as an environment for peace building.
Issues that converged in the individual and collective contribution to the construction of a society of peace were addressed, a space that had the participation of 151 members of our institutional community at the national level. La María Cano believes in the importance of training its young people to listen, understand, understand, speak respectfully, generate reflection and dialogue for the construction of a country that not only has peace as its objective, but also as a lifestyle from each home and each personal project of the members of society.
