The Faculty of Business Sciences has been carrying out the Academic Mission to national ports, within the framework of the Diploma in innovation and new challenges of the DFN national physical distribution and DFI international physical distribution (As an undergraduate degree option), in the cities of Cartagena , Barranquilla and Santa Marta. On this occasion, the participants visited important companies that are leaders in logistics and foreign trade issues, among which the following stand out: Puerto Bahía Cartagena, AC Logístico Integral S A S Cartagena, Universidad Libre de Colombia, AL POPULAR S.A. Barranquilla headquarters, Malecón de Barranquilla, Simón Bolívar University, among other spaces.

This Mission consists of delving into the dynamics of logistics, foreign trade and culture, in order to get the most out of the conversations, talks, academic and business visits that are scheduled by the Institution, giving guidance to the knowledge of innovation and logistical developments that favor commercial relations in our country. Additionally, the companies selected for the visits have a clear trajectory with an intentionality marked by their business model, logistics techniques applied in the business sector to relate it to the academic program carried out in the diploma.

This experience has allowed this group of 22 professionals to immerse themselves under a methodology of observation and comparison of the different business structures that they face in the academic mission.
