The Faculty of Business Sciences of the María Cano University Foundation continues to strengthen human resources in its different undergraduate and postgraduate programs, favoring the training of students who are preparing to contribute to the different development fronts of the country. On this occasion, an important international academic mobility is presented, with the participation of Professor Carmen Rita Espaillat Soto, who is originally from the Dominican Republic and is currently developing the Strategic Management subject with the participants in the Senior Management Specialization, cohort XXVIII.

Carmen Rita Espaillat Soto is a Doctor in Management Administration, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the APEC University – UNAPEC, is a Technician in Integral Planning of Tourism Activity from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra – PUCAMAIMA, also has a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from the APEC – UNAPEC University, with an Official Master’s in Hotel Management and Restoration, a Mention in Hotel Management and a Specialty in Curriculum Development from the Jesuits University of Salamanca. She is president of the company Contexto S.A. since 1993; She served as Accreditation Coordinator at the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University between 2018 and 2020, is the Accreditation Coordinator at the University of Santo Domingo and is also a coordinator of technical careers. In addition, she is Director of International Marketing at the Secretary of State for Tourism.

This accompaniment, to the programs of the Faculty of Business Sciences represents a significant advance in the internationalization process, while favoring the international relationship of the #MásMaríaCano students, having access to world-class professors, with high recognition, who contribute to academic programs; in addition to the contribution it provides to the internationalization of the curriculum.
