Outstanding participation of the Popayán headquarters

Teachers and students of the María Cano University Foundation, Popayán headquarters, stood out for their work in the IX Regional Meeting of Research Seedbeds of the IES member of the South Pacific Research Table of ACIET, and the VI International Meeting of Research Groups and Seedbeds, Innovation and Technological Development, under the motto: «For a region without borders in research and innovation». Virtual event hosted by the Comfacauca University Corporation – UNICOMFACAUCA.
The enriching Encounter allowed the socialization of research projects of teachers and practitioners of the Physiotherapy program, thus making visible various initiatives and finished and ongoing products, which demonstrate the Institution’s commitment to solving contextual problems in various sectors: health, business, social, among others. The teachers and students participating as speakers / advisers: Ana María Ortega Giraldo, Yuli Esmeralda Gutiérrez, Leila Rosmery Imbachí, Carlos Alberto Muñoz Ardila, Elizabeth Roldán González, Angélica María Zuluaga Calle, (Teachers), Yaqueline Alejandra Bastidas Cuasquer and José Julián Agucho ( Students).
Likewise, 6 professions from the Physiotherapy program, in the capital of Cauca, participated in the IV Meeting of Significant Experiences in Health Promotion. «Renewal of Health Promotion, an intercultural commitment in the university environment». Organized by REDCUPS Nodo Valle. In the Meeting, significant experiences were presented from Classroom Projects, internship projects and research projects developed with the academic community of the Popayán campus, in these it can be evidenced various forms used by teachers to promote the investigative spirit, creativity and innovation as a training factor in students, achievement achieved, as demonstrated by the success of the implemented strategies. The shared experiences were: Classroom Project “Cine De… Mente” (Claudia Bibiana Melo); Ecological Footprint Test (Tatiana Alexandra Rosas); Health and work conditions in the teachers of the María Cano University Foundation Popayán Headquarters (Ana María Ortega- Elizabeth Roldán González); Interactive tools for health education and communication (Ángela Giovanna Caicedo); Program «María Cano in motion» (Ángela María Rengifo Tello and Elizabeth Roldan González).
Participations in these events, in addition to allowing the strengthening of the research culture among the members of the academic community, allow evidence of public dissemination activities of science in which the teachers of the Fisioter Popayán Group and students of the SIBITEC Seedlings participate.
