The table of social projection of the corporation of higher education institutions of Huila held on November 10 and 11 the III International Congress of Social Projection, a meeting of reflection and exchange of experiences, which from social responsibility allow new understandings and strategies to contribute to more sustainable communities in pursuit of lasting peace; The thematic axes that were taken into account are: habitat and environment; innovation, technology and entrepreneurship; Health & Wellness; education, community strengthening, conflict resolution and peace.

The students and teachers of the María Cano University Foundation participated in the different presentations that were held virtually and at the headquarters of the Cooperative University of Colombia and the National Open and Distance University; There were also two presentations, one by the teacher Deisy Yulieth Silva Muñoz with her presentation «Risk of falling in elderly people with independent functional capacity» and the other by the student Nicol Andrea Galvis Sánchez with the presentation «Impact of confinement by covid 19 in body composition, fundamental motor skills and oral health of the child population of Neiva» which is a research project by the Nueva Generación seedbed.

La María Cano continues to be present in local, regional, national and international contexts, where it shows the quality of professionals who are trained in the institution and, at the same time, ties with higher education institutions in this important region of the country are strengthened.
