Participation in the XXIV Congress of Accounting and Financial Sciences Students

The teachers of the Faculty of Business Sciences of María Cano, John Heber Pérez Álvarez and Sandra Yaneth Cañas Vallejo, participated in the XXIV Congress of Accounting and Financial Sciences Students in the city of Cajamarca – Peru, which has as its central axis: » International accounting and the challenges of the accountant of the future». The meeting arose under the academic dynamics of students from the northern region of Peru, having as its central axes: IFRS in SMEs, Tax comparisons, Professional ethics in the training of public accountants, Auditing in human management; which are basic for strengthening the skills of students and professionals in accounting and financial sciences.
The teachers of the María Cano participate with the presentations:
- Professional ethics as a transversal axis in the training and exercise of the public accountant of the Mg. Sandra Yaneth Canas Vallejo
- Evolution and perspective of the audit in the human management of Mg. John Heber Perez Alvarez
Parallel to the event, ties are being strengthened with the Universities of different countries for international cooperation agreements and in this way contribute to future mobility of students, teachers and in turn in the execution of research projects, extension, intervention, among others.
It is important to note that Cajamarca is a city in the mountainous area of northern Peru, in the Andes mountain range. The historic main square, Plaza de Armas, is surrounded by colonial baroque architecture. The Cajamarca Cathedral has an altar covered in gold leaf, while the San Francisco Monastery has catacombs and a museum of religious art. Nearby is the Ransom Room, where the last Inca emperor, Atahualpa, was kept prisoner.
