Partnerships that Strengthen Public Employment and Merit

Fundación Universitaria María Cano participated in the event “Territory and Merit in Connection,” a space aimed at strengthening institutional articulation and promoting public employment at the regional level, where strategies were discussed to consolidate more efficient, transparent, and merit-based processes.
This meeting brought together key stakeholders from academia and the public sector, fostering dialogue on the importance of strengthening selection mechanisms that ensure equity, transparency, and access to employment opportunities in public service.
The event featured the participation of Carlos Alfonso Beltrán Baquero, Technical Director of the Selection Processes Directorate at the Escuela Superior de Administración Pública (ESAP), who shared his expertise in the implementation of merit-based policies and public sector recruitment.
Through its participation, Fundación Universitaria María Cano continues to strengthen its presence in collaborative spaces that connect academic training with public sector dynamics, enhancing the relevance of its programs in response to societal needs.
