Physiotherapist who leaves María Cano high

The María Cano University Foundation is proud of its graduates, this is the case of Heinar Yadir Zorrilla, who after obtaining his professional title in the Physiotherapy program, at the Cali campus, in 2007 began to work in the Carlos Sarmiento Lora School, where he worked as a professional physiotherapist for a period of 6 six years, then he went to the Asociación Deportivo Cali doing his job for 2 years, and since 2016 he has been part of the Colombian Soccer Team, in his different categories, including the group of the Colombian U-17 women’s soccer team, runner-up in the world in this year 2022.
Heinar Yadir Zorrilla, with sacrifice and effort, was able to obtain his degree from the María Cano University Foundation, as he confirmed in an interview with the newspaper El País in the capital of Valle del Cauca: «My dad, to collaborate with me, had to get up a million pesos every four months. He is a country man, so he woke up at three in the morning to go sweep the Santa Elena park, then he went to cut cane and at night he came to manage a billiards, all for that I could study»; He says proudly when explaining how his family has been fundamental support for his training process that today allows him to provide a great service to Colombia.
This graduate of the María Cano University Foundation is one of the most important references in the area of recovery and physical care, he watches over the integrity of the athletes of the tricolor team without distinction of gender, race or playing position. Due to his charisma, commitment, dedication and leadership, he is known as: «the hands that care for the soccer players of the Colombian national team.»
Regarding his commitment to the profession and patients, he stands out: «I think that if you believe in God and in what you want to achieve, you can achieve important things. Also, you can never lose your humility, you must always remain the same so that no door is closed to you», which demonstrates his professionalism and the qualities that lead him to be one of the most outstanding physiotherapy professionals in the country, always in accordance with the institutional principles that were instilled in María Cano during his training. academic: respect, equity, excellence, leadership, transparency and responsibility.
