Physiotherapy advances towards High Quality Accreditation

In its continuous work to achieve the recognition of the National Accreditation Council for the Physiotherapy program, the Medellín de la María Cano headquarters receives the collaborative pair, Aydee Luisa Robayo Torres, who will analyze the self-evaluation process carried out for accreditation purposes, as one of the main institutional goals, in its constant commitment to quality and excellence. The pair that will be with the national directives and the headquarters in the capital of Antioquia, on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 September, is a PhD in Education, Magister in Educational and Social Development, Specialist Pedagogy for the development of learning, with studies in pediatric neurophysiotherapy from the Karolinska Institute; She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Body Movement of the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of Colombia from 2008 to the present.
During the different meetings that will be held with the Rector, the Vice-Rectors, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Director of the Physiotherapy Program, the professors, students, graduates and the leaders of the different academic and administrative areas who support the actions of the program that is present in the cities of Medellín, Cali, Neiva and Popayán; Institutional results will be analyzed in the self-evaluation process, improvement plans, maintenance plans, commitment to social projection and with the community in all aspects covered by Physiotherapy, whose essential object of study is to understand and manage the human body movement through the different stages of life.
