The Colombian Association of Physiotherapy Students – ACEFIT, legally constituted as a non-profit organization, with registration number 0090046685 from the city of Bogotá, aims to contribute to the progress, development and comprehensive training of physiotherapy students nationwide. . This year the III Regional Meeting of Physiotherapy Research Seedbeds will be held, whose main objective is to promote formative research by undergraduate physiotherapy students belonging to ACEFIT in each of the regions, providing spaces for continuing education and research through an academic conference on September 24, 2022. The participants will be active students belonging to the physiotherapy program of the universities of the Andean region: the CES University, the María Cano University Foundation, Medellin, the Autonomous University of Manizales and the University Foundation of the Andean Area.

The modalities of participation are:

Poster: Visual medium to communicate the results of work, experiences, research projects, etc. This form of exhibition contributes to the exchange of knowledge among those attending academic events. Research proposal: visual presentation that describes a research project to be carried out in an area or sector of interest; and that it is prepared to request approval, institutional and/or financial support for its execution (introduction, objectives, materials and methods, expected results, bibliography).

Lecture: Oral presentation supported by slides whose purpose is to disseminate knowledge to discuss it in an academic event (seminars, symposiums, panels, congresses, among others). Therefore, it reports the progress or finished products of an investigation. Ongoing projects: oral presentation where advances of projects that have not yet completed the collection of the sample or have not written final results are presented. The project must have the following sections (introduction, objectives, materials and methods, expected results, bibliography). Completed projects: oral presentation where completed projects are presented. The project must have the following sections (introduction, objectives, materials and methods, results, conclusions, bibliography).

The requirements to participate are:

Poster: Being an active member of ACEFIT (current renewal); If you are not registered and wish to participate in the conference, you must register with the association through the coordinator of the student center of your University. In addition, a substitute presenter must be registered in the event that the main presenter cannot attend, who must meet the requirements requested for the main presenter.

Keep in mind that the participant must fill out a series of data and upload some documents: Project presentation format: format in which the project to be presented is summarized, this format has a word limit for each section. Data processing format: format in which the Colombian Association of Physiotherapy Students is authorized to make use of the information contained in the registration form and in the formats related to the event. Ethics committee endorsement: In the event that your research requires endorsement by a research ethics committee, you must upload this endorsement, in the event that you do not have it, you must mention why you do not yet have it.

Note: In case of not complying with the requirements and documents requested in the stipulated times, the investigation will not be taken into account for this event.

The project selection process will be carried out by a review committee made up of the scientific committee that will review compliance with the requirements, correct completion of the formats and compliance with the dates stipulated in the schedule, in this first filter the papers that will be featured at the event. People who are part of the review committee or logistics committee of the event may not participate as a speaker.

Development of the event:

Poster:

• For the presentation of the projects in poster mode, a physical space will be available within the event for the location and socialization of these. The predestined template for the event will be sent in advance.
• The presentation of each poster consists of a 15-minute talk and 5 minutes for attendees to ask the pertinent questions regarding the project.

Presentations:

• The presentation will be an oral presentation supported by an audiovisual resource according to the established guidelines. The predestined template for the event will be sent in advance.

Ongoing projects:

• The presentation consists of a 15-minute talk and 5 minutes for the evaluators to ask the pertinent questions regarding the project.

Completed projects:

• The presentation will be an oral presentation supported by an audiovisual resource according to the established guidelines. The predestined template for the event will be sent in advance.
• The presentation consists of a 10-minute talk and 5 minutes for the evaluators to ask the pertinent questions regarding the project.

Once the schedule is sent, the speaker will have a maximum time of 5 days to send the audiovisual material to the email of the scientific committee cientificoacefit@gmail.com, in the email you must include the name of the project, the name of the speaker and the regional to which the university is linked.
