In order to strengthen the institutional alliances, coordinator of the Popayan Campus, Angelica Maria ZuluagaCalle, along with coordinator of the Institutional Welfare Area, Lizeth Paola Mejia, and teacher who supports the continuous education processes, Angela Maria Rengifo, met with secretary of Sport and Culture of the municipality, Argeny Gomez Lopez, ir order to work together on behalf of sportsmen, artists and older adults of the city, where the community welfare can be guaranteed through the work of the university community members.

At the meeting, an inter-institutional agreement was reached to support initiatives from both institutions, as well as the proposal of a Training School for Trainers of the Secretary of Culture and Sports, which will benefit our community. Additionally, topics related to the development of the II International Congress on Physical Activity and Sport for the Southwest of Colombia, which will take place in May, were discussed; seeking the secretary will be a strategic ally in its execution.

Popayan Campus is articulated to different public and private entities to respond to its responsibility from the social projection with the different publics of the capital of Cauca.
