The María Cano University Foundation at the Neiva campus participated as a strategic partner in the Huila University Fair of Science, Technology, and Innovation, an event that brought together higher education institutions, researchers, and entrepreneurs committed to the scientific and technological development of the region.

At the Huila E Business Center, María Cano stood out with the presentation “Healthy Companies: Health and Productivity,” led by Professor Karol Jairegui Rodríguez, who introduced innovative strategies to strengthen workplace well-being and improve organizational productivity.

Additionally, Physiotherapy students Johanna Valentina Guzmán Martínez and Laura Valentina Sánchez Cardoso presented their prototypes «Fingerforce» and «Electric-Comfort» accompanied by professors Leonardo Fabio Medina Ortiz and Gladys Tamayo Perdomo. These projects reflected the institution’s commitment to applied research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in health, contributing to the strengthening of Huila’s scientific ecosystem.

In the Huila department, the María Cano University Foundation consistently stands out for its efforts to strengthen relationships with the external sector and the regional ecosystem, consolidating alliances that enhance research, knowledge transfer, and sustainable development of the territory.
