On Thursday, February 6th, The Maria Cano gave new professionals and specialists to society, after private graduation ceremonies at the Medellin, Cali and Popayan campuses; where the service to society of the new graduates of the Institution was highlighted. They represent the ideals of social leader Maria de los Angeles Cano Marquez, as well as the principles of respect, equity, excellence, leadership, transparency and responsibility.

At Medellin campus, the ceremony was presided by Jorge Albeiro Herrera Builes, Academic Vice-Rector, and Carlos Julio Escobar Noreña, Vice-Rector of Extension and Social Outreach, who highlighted the importance of working in a decisive manner for the country and looking critically at the events that have occurred in Colombia in the last months where citizens have expressed their voice of protest against some situations in national life; while always respecting the rights of others and guaranteeing the common good.

The Maria Cano provided physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, business administrators, public accountants, systems engineers and specialists in occupational health management, thus ratifying the institutional commitment to quality.
