As a result of the work in cohesion of the Researchers of the FISIOTER group Fanny Valencia Legarda, Catalina Lopera Muñetón and the researcher of the SUMAR group Ricardo León Sánchez Arenas, the article entitled “Quality of life in patients with lymphedema due to breast cancer in the city of Medellín ”. This product is the result of the investigation called «Effect of oncological rehabilitation on edema and quality of life of patients with lymphedema due to breast cancer in the city of Medellín» and represents a significant contribution to the academic and scientific community, with important Findings in the area of ​​variables associated with quality of life in patients with lymphedema due to breast cancer.

On the other hand, this important work is a sample of the articulation of the María Cano researchers and the consolidation of the Fisioter and Sumar groups on issues that impact the development of the region and the health of the Antioquia population.
