The researcher Diana Vanessa Vivares Porras from the Psychology program of the María Cano University Foundation, Medellín headquarters, published the article entitled «Imaginaries of Colombian ex-combatants on reincorporation and reintegration: the metaphor of the burden», in the Sequences Magazine (Q3) , edited by the Dr. José María Luis Mora Research Institute, in Mexico City.
In this article, the authors address in a timely manner the imaginaries of ex-combatants about the post-agreement. The stories of the research participants present dilemmatic functions associated with tensions, obstacles and imagined opportunities about the post-agreement, including a number of sociopolitical challenges that transcend the prescription of state programs for reincorporation and reintegration.
Sequences Magazine publishes original articles based on scientific research, which make a clear contribution to the debate and historical, cultural, social and political knowledge of Mexico and Latin America from colonial times to the 21st century. The magazine aims to be a reference for students and specialists in the various fields of history, ethnohistory, sociology, political science, economics, geography, anthropology and applied social sciences. All articles undergo a double-blind review process to determine whether or not they will be accepted for publication.
