Ready for the Business Administration Accreditation visit
- 5 octubre, 2021

Dear students, teachers and officials of the undergraduate program in Business Administration! the high-quality accreditation of the undergraduate Business Administration at the Medellín campus.
The pandemic has not stopped us from consolidating quality conditions that confirm our commitment to education and with the necessary coherence that we must demonstrate between our training commitment and the relevance, timeliness and disciplinary domain of the undergraduate.
For several semesters we decided, as the María Cano University Foundation, to seek accreditation for all programs. With the support of the Board of Directors, the deans and directors, but above all with the seriousness of the work and the commitment of teachers, graduates, students and administrative staff, today we take on this academic experience with rigor, and tranquility.
A few weeks ago we had the visit for the accreditation of the Physiotherapy program, and having lived this first process showed us that we are in very advanced conditions that allow us to think positively about what the future of all our programs will be. Business Administration will not be the exception, due to its academic results, the culture of the academic team and the disciplinary focus of the program.
The peers who will visit us are also colleagues, fellow professionals and managers of related programs in other institutions of higher education, and their contributions will help us to identify areas of the program that demand opportunities for improvement, as well as strategies to address them. It is a wonderful time to keep growing!
Arriving here is not an easy task. Only programs that demonstrate consolidated institutional conditions and a proper curricular and organizational structure, as well as a demanding self-evaluation process, are worthy of being visited by the CNA.
As rector, and as an academic, I fully trust your contribution to this institutional purpose, and a few hours before the visit, I want to anticipate to thank each and every one of those who, from the program, have contributed to preparing it.
We will have time to analyze the conclusions, the aspects that stand out, as well as those in which we must redouble our efforts to improve. God willing we have a very positive report from the Council, which empowers us much more, and better.
For now, with rigor, but also with academic, technical and intellectual enjoyment, for what this visit represents, I invite you to continue along the path that, as a program, you have chosen to confirm its quality.
With my gratitude to all of you, also for believing in your Institution,
HUGO ALBERTO VALENCIA PORRAS
Rector
