María Tatiana Ramírez Lozano, director of the Speech Pathology program at the Medellín campus, received recognition as an outstanding graduate of this important health sciences program, for an academic and research career spanning almost 30 years of profession at the service of the country and the academic community, which was awarded by the Ibero-American University Corporation, for which it earned a certification, which is added as an achievement to the resume, an award that speaks of the quality of institutional collaborators, their work and commitment over time for the benefit of the entire university community of María Cano and the inhabitants of the country.

The director is a speech therapist graduated from the Corporación Universitaria Iberoamericana, she is a specialist in business administration, a master’s degree in ICT applied to education from the National Pedagogical University and a doctoral student in educational sciences from the University of San Buenaventura, with experience in the fields of care. , teaching, investigative and administrative. At the healthcare level, he has outstanding experience in the professional application of healthcare services in speech therapy for the promotion, prevention, evaluation, intervention, counseling and counseling for users with deficiencies or disorders in oral and/or written communication.

At the teaching level, his work stands out in the higher education sector within the undergraduate program in speech therapy for the face-to-face modality in the areas of speech, learning, child-adult communication and internship consultancies in educational, welfare and clinical institutions and in virtual modality for the management of reading-written communication skills. At the research level, he stands out for his contributions in the development of projects emphasized in language and disability; Finally, at the administrative level, he has led groups of professionals in the areas of health and education, optimizing the human, physical and economic resources of private companies.
