Rector, Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras awarded the scholarships for academic excellence and honorable mention to the students who obtained the best averages in the immediately preceding period, according to Agreement N. 060 of the Superior Council of September 27th, 2017 by which the Academic Regulations are adopted. In Chapter XIII, Article 67 establishes the awarding of scholarships for academic excellence in the Institution.

The Academic Regulations established as requirements for obtaining the Scholarship for Academic Excellence to have registered and approved all the subjects that make up the curriculum within the respective academic period. Students who have only enrolled in the internship and those who are not retaking subjects are exempted. Besides, the student must achieve in the academic period an average not less than four with five (4.5), there must be a favorable concept by the Faculty Council for this recognition, without having disciplinary sanctions and the academic average of the periods taken is not less than four (4.0).
