Referencing visit for innovation in library services

A team from the María Cano University Foundation made a reference visit to the CRAI (Resource Center for Learning, Research and Innovation) of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, within the framework of the construction of the new physical infrastructure at the Medellín headquarters , where the progress in the CRAI model of the library of that higher education institution was referenced, which allows the conception of an environment that brings together university services to support learning, teaching, research and innovation related to information and technologies. of ICT information and with technologies for learning and TAC knowledge. It is about conceiving spaces that provide easy access to information in a more dynamic and comfortable environment to adapt to students.
The visit was received by the Academic Vice-Rector and the Director of the Library of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, who shared with the head of the Library, the head of Mariacanovirtual, the head of Physical Infrastructure and the Vice-Rector for Extension and Social Projection, Carlos Julio Escobar Noreña, the progress that this higher education institution has made in the area of physical infrastructure, highlighting the adaptation, in recent years, of the campus located in the Laureles neighborhood of Medellín, with new spaces for the interaction of the university community.
In this way, the academic and administrative leaders of María Cano prepare for the adaptation of the new academic and administrative buildings, which are built in the center of the capital of Antioquia, with the reference of successful cases in other HEIs in the region and thus guaranteeing impeccable service to the community.
