In order to explore possibilities of joint work for university training, research, extension and social projection, María Cano was received at her offices by the president of SURA Asset Management, Ignacio Calle Cuartas. In the dialogue and relationship space, the capacities of the Institution to support the companies of this important multinational that has more than 7,700 employees in various countries of Latin America, the United States and Europe were exposed. In Colombia its most representative company is Protección AFP.

The visit made by the rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras and the vice rectors Carlos Julio Escobar Noreña and Jorge Albeiro Herrera Builes, to the SURA Presidency, was also attended by Catalina Restrepo Cardona, Vice President of Human Talent and Sustainability of the organization.
