Professor Natalia Gómez Cardona represented the Psychology program of the María Cano University Foundation at the XI Meeting of ASCOFAPSI researchers, in which the work agenda of Nodes and Networks of the Association in question also took place. The teacher participated in the Network of Psychology Practices – REPPSI; This exercise allowed the visibility of the program, the Institution and the network of practices of the Antioquia Node, before the different members of the Colombian Association of Psychology and the academic community in general. Among the significant achievements of this space is the election of the national coordination of the Network for the next two years, which was in charge of Antioquia; The proposals for the work plan were generated, where the main challenges seek to strengthen the different committees such as research, extension, ethics and regulations and inter-institutional relations; articulated development with other affiliated networks, strengthen the relationship between the academy, students and cooperators and develop training spaces on topics of interest around the practice.
Professor Adriana María Restrepo Arismendy from the Psychology program was selected as the national coordinator of the network of psychology laboratories at the national level together with her colleague Víctor Gamboa; This election becomes a new visibility of our María Cano teachers at a national level. The National Network of ASCOFAPSI Laboratories convenes the laboratories of the psychology programs attached to the association and its objectives include sharing knowledge and experiences of working in laboratories, building common procedures to facilitate academic work and generating research on good practices for share work standards. In Colombia there are animal experimentation laboratories, test benches, laboratories for simulated work and work areas with humans that strengthen the actions of psychology.
