The professors of the María Cano University Foundation: Gladys Tamayo Perdomo, Diana Paola Montealegre Suárez, Viviana Caicedo Delgado and Piedad Rocío Lerma Castaño, who are coordinators of the Nueva Generación, Fimcal, Investigators of the Future and Visionaries of Science research hotbeds. to the Neiva headquarters they manage to classify, with 2 research proposals, in call No. 3 for the financing of projects formulated by the research seedbeds linked to higher education institutions of the Huila department of the Knowledge, Science, Technology and Technology Management Project. Innovation that will be carried out in 2022 by seed growers.

Being part of this outstanding national project has allowed seed farmers and coordinators of seed farms to participate in training cycles aimed at strengthening skills for the development of Science, Technology and Innovation activities and participation with five proposals in call No. 2 of regional diagnoses that allowed the identification of problems of the social and productive sectors of the region.

These diagnoses were developed, in an articulated manner, with seed students from the higher education institutions of Neiva, the Antonio Nariño Universities, the National Open and Distance University, the Fundación Escuela Tecnológica de Neiva Jesús Oviedo Pérez, the National Unified Corporation of Higher Education and the Fundación Universitaria Navarra, where the collective work of the seed growers stands out, demonstrating once again their interest in research, science, technology and innovation activities.

This is how María Cano advances, grows and consolidates in different areas of the country, with the participation of all human talent, generating ideas and proposals that benefit all members of society, through its social projection.
