Result of the Diploma in Dysphagia as a title option in ARETÉ Magazine

The Areté Magazine is an interdisciplinary scientific publication, aimed at the dissemination of knowledge related to research in the processes of human communication, their disorders and superior aerodigestive functions, in various settings and populations. In its latest edition, it includes the publication of four research articles developed by students and professors of the Speech Therapy program of the María Cano University Foundation within the framework of the Diploma in Dysphagia as a title option:
- Knowledge and adaptation of speech valves to tracheostomy, by Colombian speech therapists: Fernando Delprado Aguirre, Jenifer Correa Agudelo, Catalina Nieto Correa and María Paulina Soto Ruiz.
- Proposal to obtain liquid consistencies for the evaluation of dysphagia: Fernando Delprado Aguirre, Chary Durango Sánchez, Andrea Gómez Yepes and Nini Johanna Rodríguez Sánchez.
- Rehabilitation approach to swallowing in older adults with neurodegenerative diseases: Systematic review – Miguel Antonio Vargas García, Valeria Bustamante Arboleda, Ana Ospina Ruiz and Catalina Valvuena Cuartas.
- Classification of the level of risk for functional swallowing errors (CRAF) – Miguel Antonio Vargas García, Angélica Cely Arboleda, Juliza Tatiana Suárez and Diego Alejandro Vélez Gutiérrez.
Once again the quality and commitment of the speech therapy program with social projection, professional practice, teamwork and the delivery of knowledge for the benefit of society is evidenced.
