Specialization in Comprehensive assistance to early childhood begins

With sixteen students, the Medellín de la María Cano campus, in agreement with the Fundación Universitaria Católica del Norte, will start its first cohort of the Specialization in Comprehensive Early Childhood Care, which has SNIES code 107512 and Qualified Registry No. 017472 of November 2, 2018, granted by the Ministry of National Education. Graduate students will have their induction process on Thursday, August 27, to start classes on Friday 28 of the same month.
The academic development of the program will begin with the modules of Institutional Chair, Human Development, Regulatory Framework, Integrative Project I. With teachers with great experience in everything related to Comprehensive Early Childhood Care.
We welcome to this program: Carmen Alicia Patiño Zapata, Diana Milena Betancur Gómez, Aidée Marín Castro, Yesica Paola Arias Ramírez, Luis Alejandro Galíndez Benavides, Julieth Andrea Rodríguez Vargas, Maria de los Ángeles Ñañez Viveros, Susladys Vásquez, Jarely Martínez, Rosa Cristina Peña Zuluaga, Diana González Vargas, Ana Yesenia Almenares García, Diani Priscila Cabrera Flores, Yesenia Karina Cetre, Amelia Castillo Morán, Jhonattan Andrés Ibarra Palacios; students who come from different regions of Colombia, in addition to the countries of Mexico, Guatemala and Puerto Rico, which makes it an international cohort.
The Specialization in Comprehensive Early Childhood Care of the María Cano University Foundation in agreement with the Fundación Universitaria Católica del Norte, virtual modality, seeks to train specialists who work in a coordinated way for the development of children between 0 and 6 year old. In this way, it is aimed at the training of educational agents with an inclusive vision who value diversity as an inherent characteristic of the human being and with the capacity to contribute their knowledge in multiple fields, exercising actions aimed at promotion and prevention programs, designing and participating in research, academic and community social proposals.
The Specialization in Comprehensive Early Childhood Care, a virtual modality, is conceived under the premise of an education without time barriers, a space that reduces geographic gaps, making it possible to reach a significant number of people interested in contributing to the comprehensive development of early childhood .
