Start of qualified registry visit for Occupational Therapy

The María Cano University Foundation advances with the search for qualified records for the new academic programs, a goal contemplated in the Development Plan 2017 – 2026 «Building the Future» … On November 11 and 12, the Institution receives a virtual visit from the par academic from the Ministry of Education, Lisset Adriana Ardila Roa, Magister in disability from the Autonomous University of Manizales and with an undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Santander UDES.
In his resume, he also highlights: “Ability to carry out assigned tasks with and without supervision. Handling multiple tasks at the same time. Excellent teamwork attitude, with an entrepreneurial, organized, responsible, efficient attitude, adaptability and learning, creativity and organizational dynamism to carry out the assigned projects.
With work experience in training areas for virtual environments, Blackboard 9.1, in basic teaching in the private sector, University teaching in the public sector “Universidad de Pamplona, 2 years and 3 months”, University Teaching “Universidad de Santander UDES – Cúcuta , 6 months ”, management of people with disabilities, with projection to administrative positions in any area and / or department, management of training processes in the productive stage, execution of follow-up visits of the practical stage, in addition to staff management, strengthening lines action of electives, and graduates.
Professional academic complement with studies in specific areas of the basic profession, safety and health at work, pedagogical, technological, administrative aspects for the formation of virtual environments, Blackboard 9.1, entrepreneurship, design, production and evaluation of educational multimedia products, management of the Internet as a tool to support educational processes, project training strategy, basic pedagogy to guide professional training, training in processes and institutional accreditation, among others ”.
The visit that will focus on decree 1330 of 2019, which regulates the processes of qualified registration and academic quality of Higher Education Institutions in Colombia, to consolidate a vision of quality that responds to social, cultural and environmental demands, in the which recognizes the diversity of HEIs, their nature and their institutional objectives in a differentiated way, harmonizing the assurance model that the country has with international standards; It is received by the Rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, the Vice-Rectors of the Institution, the Quality Planning Directorate, the Self-Assessment Coordination, the Dean of Health Sciences and the other institutional directives that lead the different support subsystems.
During the two days of work the following topics will be analyzed:
- Presentation of the name, justification of the program and curricular aspects
- Organization of academic activities and training process
- Research, innovation and artistic creation
- Presentation of relationship with the external sector
- Presentation of teachers
- Presentation of educational media
- Technological infrastructure
- Physical infrastructure
- Financial viability of the program
- Meetings with graduates, students, teachers and the external sector
