From the Neiva headquarters, the María Cano University Foundation, recognizes through the agreement with the ESE Carmen Emilia Ospina, the healthcare personnel, who permanently support the development of the training practices of the Physiotherapy program through primary health care actions that favor the promotion and maintenance of health. The headquarters coordinator Diana María Salazar Rojas, highlighted the commitment of ESE Carmen Emilia Ospina and the strategic union with María Cano, in front of collaborative work; that impacts the physical, mental and social health of vulnerable communities linked to each of the flagship programs, which strengthen public health policies such as early childhood, childhood and adolescence, the elderly, among others.

The head table was accompanied by Dr. José Antonio Paz, manager of ESE Carmen Emilia Ospina; Mr. Guillermo Bonilla, service teaching coordinator, and the Institution’s internship coordinator, Yasmín Andrea Rodríguez. The training practices make visible the María Cano University Foundation, in the actions of the municipal development plan, showing once again that the academy is a fundamental part of the training of upright professionals, with critical thinking and social commitment with the communities, contributing to the welfare, growth and development of the department of Huila.
