Strengthening international research through the Delfin Program

Between the months of June and August, the María Cano University Foundation will have the participation of 17 students of Mexican, Korean and, of course, Colombian nationality, both in person and online, to be part of the XXVIII Summer of Scientific Research and Tecnológica del Pacífico promoted through the Delfín Program, to which the Institution is linked, with the aim of consolidating cooperation projects in the line of international scientific production. At the Medellín headquarters, face-to-face modality, there will be the participation of Yun Hoe; France Evelin Barragan Leal; Itxel Yeshua Vaca Mendoza and Esly Mariana Gómez Pérez from the University of Guadalajara and in the virtual modality are Estefanía Ramírez Cardona from the Andean Area University Foundation; Gema Fernanda Picazo Quiroz from the Vizcaya University of the Americas and Cony Alejandra Sterling Cediel from the Neiva headquarters.
At the Popayán headquarters, Mitzy Griselda Romero Inda from the Pierre Fauchard Intercontinental University; Ramsés Alejandro Guzmán Carrillo from the Autonomous University of Nayarit and Francisco Javier Antelo Nieblas from the Kino University; in the virtual modality, Zaida Yuritza Roso Rojas from the University of Santander; Jorge Adrián Díaz García from the Michoacan University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo and Israel Angulo Escobar from the Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla. At the Cali headquarters, Brayner Stiben Prado Gil from the Alexander Von Humboldt Business University Corporation is linked in person. For its part, the Neiva headquarters has the visit of two students in the face-to-face modality; Julissa Itzel Leyva Valencia from the Vizcaya University of the Americas and Janeira Alejandra López Cortes from the Puruándiro Higher Technological Institute.
During their research stay, students contribute to the development of research projects led by professors from the Faculty of Health Sciences, in Physiotherapy and the Specialization in Comprehensive Care for Early Childhood. The students were received in a welcome meeting, in which the institutional directors participated, in a space for knowledge and awareness, where the commitment of María Cano and the students to the strengthening of international research was evident. The following participated in this first relationship work from the Medellín headquarters: Carlos Julio Escobar Noreña, Vice Chancellor of Extension and Social Projection; Nelson Alberto Rúa Ceballos, Director of the Center for Business Research and Development; Amilbia Palacios Córdoba, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences; Juanita Sánchez Romero, Director of the Medellin Physiotherapy program; Fanny Valencia Legarda and Catalina Lopera Muñetón, Physiotherapy professors from the city of Medellín; María Isabel Loaiza Hernández, Coordinator of the Specialization in Comprehensive Care for Early Childhood; Luis Horacio Escobar Correa, Head of Communications and Tatiana Isabel Fontalvo Grueso, Head of International Relations; From the Popayán headquarters, Angélica María Zuluaga Calle, Headquarters Coordinator; Elizabeth Roldán González, Researcher and Technical Advisor of the Institution before the Dolphin Program; María Fernanda Ortiz Cabrera, Internationalization Coordinator, as well as professors Angela María Rengifo Tello; Juan Pablo Barragán Fajardo and Leila Rosmery Imbachí Meneses. It is the first time that the María Cano University Foundation receives students at all its campuses within the framework of the Delfín Program. It is for this reason that the Institution opens its doors for the continuous strengthening of academic and research activities for the constant qualification of students. new professionals who are preparing for the challenges of Colombia and the world.
