The Sumar group, appointed to the Faculty of Business Sciences of María Cano University Foundation, has achieved the A category in the recent call from Colciencias. Reaching this goal has been an institutional commitment and an individual challenge for research professors, which reflects a growth process carried out with discipline, effort and consistency.

Strarting from the 2017-2026 «Building Future» Development Plan and in accordance with the regulations established in Decree 1330 of 2019, the SUMAR Group established its strategic projection since the definition of research lines going side by side with the new trends.

The Operational Plan will be defined in accordance with the guidelines established therein, in view of the new challenges posed as a Categorized Research Group, with a regional, national and international projection.
