The Psychology program carried out the final activity of 2024 with educational agents responsible for the care and well-being of children enrolled in the Buen Comienzo program, part of the Crecer con Amor initiative. Fundación Universitaria María Cano trains, supports, and develops actions aimed at impacting the emotional well-being of these women who perform caregiving roles for the youngest children. This activity took place in the La Candelaria neighborhood, Comuna 10 of the municipality of Medellín. It is important to highlight that these support activities are part of the Soy Potencia strategy, which is one of the actions promoting caregiver well-being.

This strategy covers about 12 educational agents per session and is present in 3 childcare centers of the Alcaldía de Medellín’s Buen Comienzo program, with 10 support sessions carried out in the second half of this year. Fundación María Cano continues to advance its commitment to society and the communities in which it operates, with a relevant approach from the perspective of social outreach.
