Teachers with creativity and commitment to education

In the Speech Therapy program they are committed to constant education, which is a path and a tool for transformation; that potentiates all the factors and areas in which the human being is summed up. Educating, therefore, is an art that some professionals materialize based on the particular reality of each human being who receives the process. The art of educating enjoys various strategies, framed in the concepts of pedagogy. With the intention of making visible these various strategies proposed since the training of speech therapists at María Cano, visibility has been given to the different forms that are used by teachers inside the classroom spaces; this was done in the space “Reports on Pedagogical Innovation” that took place at the Institution during the first days of June.
Pedagogical Innovation Reports is a contest supported by the Speech Therapy program and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, which included the participation of teachers from the Popayán, Neiva and Medellín campuses. Each participating teacher presented the report of a successful experience within the framework of the pedagogical innovation developed during the first semester of the year 2022.
The refuelings were valued by: Claudia Patricia Vásquez Lopera and Liliana María Gómez Cardona, professional experts in pedagogical and didactic dynamics. Ten reports on pedagogical innovation were presented and three winners were chosen:
- Nelson Iván Cupitra Vergara – Cardiopulmonary Integration Laboratory – Medellín campus – with 229 qualification points
- Fernando Delprado Aguirre – Live before writing – Medellín headquarters – with 226 rating points
- Aura Angélica Espinel Católico and Nini Alejandra Valderrama Moreno – Primiparadas Neiva – venue Neiva – with 220 qualification points
