The General Secretariat of the María Cano University Foundation guides and directs institutional memory activities, confers authenticity to the documents issued by the different academic and administrative areas; while formalizing, safeguarding the integrity of the minutes and books of the General Assembly of Members, the Superior Council and the Academic Councils. In this management, with the support of the Legal Office, it guarantees the legality, control and management of institutional information to ensure that the different institutional acts are issued within the framework of the Political Constitution, the law, the general statutes and the regulatory provisions. internal, in addition to being articulated with the Institutional Educational Project – PEI and the Development Plan 2017-2026 «Building the Future», in a way that allows opportunity, effectiveness, efficiency and missionary dynamics.

In the process of dissemination and socialization, María Cano makes available to the entire university community and the general public the institutional legal system that regulates the different academic and administrative activities, with content of a public nature.
