On Tuesday, November 19, The Maria Cano University Foundation, in Medellin campus, received the visit of two officials from the Ministry of Education of the capital of Antioquia. The purpose of this was to verify the physical conditions, resources and endowment of the institution under the regulations of Education for Work and Human Development in order to establish the program of academic knowledge of English, which seeks to consolidate this institutional proposal through the official establishment of a language center, led by professional Maria Camila Marin Herrera, which is not only present  in the capital of Antioquia, but also in Cali, Neiva and Popayan campuses. It looks to consolidate the training in a second language for all members of The Maria Cano university community.

After touring around the different spaces, services and customer service areas, the visit ended successfully without any observation. It is important to emphasize that the officials remarked the excellent work done with the PEI (Institutional Educational Project), the kindness from the members of the administrative team of The Maria Cano, as well as the constant evolution in the service and the investments made in the physical infrastructure, which include the plan of physical spaces, which is currently projected by the Rectory to provide better attention to students, teachers, graduates, collaborators, families, neighbors and  wider community.

The Maria Cano is committed to the consolidation of its academic proposal in which the teaching of English is fundamental. After this visit, the Institution will be waiting for the Resolution by the Ministry of Education, to continue advancing in the goals established in the Development Plan 2017 – 2026 «Building Future».
