The Rector presided over private graduation ceremony via Collaborate

The covid-19 pandemic has required organizations to change and adapt to new health care and management requirements on the five continents. It is evident that in the last two months, life has changed for the inhabitants of the planet and now the virtual and being in the safety of our homes are the most effective ways to ensure the integrity of the community. Because of this situation, Mariacanovirtual, the area of Admissions, Registration and Academic Control and the Offices of Communications and Graduates organized a new way to deliver professionals and specialists to society who finished their studies at The Maria Cano.
45 graduates were connected by collaborate in a ceremony presided over by the rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, who was accompanied by the vice-rectors Jorge Albeiro Herrera Builes and Carlos Julio Escobar Noreña, to take the professional oath. Eight physiotherapists from the Medellin, Cali and Popayan campuses; a speech therapist, two psychologists, a business administrator, four senior management specialists and twenty-nine occupational health management specialists were the protagonists of the ceremony.
From different parts of the country, the honorees for the first virtual grades in the history of The Maria Cano University Foundation, which is now 33 years old, connected to each other. They heard the institutional gratitude for being part of the historical moment that life decreed for the institution. For their part, the new graduates, accompanied by their families, recognized the management to make the graduation ceremony and emphasized the importance of their academic training at this crucial time for all.
Congratulations, they are a source of pride for The Maria Cano.
