On November 5, 6 and 7, María Cano held the Workshop on Qualitative Transformation in skills and abilities for the 43 volunteers and directors of the Colombian Red Cross Sectional Antioquia, this training was given by the Administrative, Financial and Accounting Clinic of the Faculty of Business Sciences in association with the continuous training area of the Vice-Rectory for Extension and Social Projection.
The Colombian Red Cross Sectional Antioquia in its actions presents a unique organizational structure, where volunteers are the main part of daily work. It is for this reason and given the dynamics of the environment where the skills and abilities required are preponderant for the optimization of processes and the execution of projects. This institution reports the need to strengthen and skills. This project is carried out due to considering having a social impact on altruistic people who seek continuous improvement of their skills and abilities.
The general objective of this workshop was: Execute a training plan for managerial volunteers of the Antioquia Sectional Colombian Red Cross; and as specific objectives: to identify the training and training needs of the volunteers, to design a methodological route for training and training, to train in the required training, to advise on management issues the volunteer directors of the Colombian Red Cross Sectional Antioquia and to measure the generated impact.

This work was given as part of the actions of the Faculty that seek to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation actions and the management of agreements that allow a positive impact on the regions. Soon a framework agreement will be signed with the Red Cross.
