Virtual Reality Software obtains registration in the DNDA

The María Cano University Foundation, Neiva headquarters, in cooperation with the Systems Engineering program of the Huila University Corporation, obtains the registration of a software that seeks to revolutionize therapeutic tools for the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy; This registration was granted this year by the National Copyright Directorate (DNDA), therefore, they are recognized as producers and owners of this software.
The software registered under the name «VIRTUAL REALITY SOFTWARE FOR THE REHABILITATION OF GAIT IN CHILDREN WITH LEVEL I CEREBRAL PALSY», as well as the project had been developed since 2021 with the participation of students, as a degree work modality. With the new tool, in this field, it seeks to contribute to the rehabilitation of children in a more effective way and in terms of functionality for carrying out activities of daily living.
For the development, the C Sharp (C#) programming language was used, which is one of the most used today, the Unity video game engine was also used, with this engine the software could be used on different platforms, this would mean a greater scope and finally all the modeling was done in Maya 3D.
