Within the framework of the relationship actions of the Speech Therapy program of the María Cano University Foundation, on May 4, 5 and 6, the visit of 18 students and 3 professors of the Speech Therapy program of the San Buenaventura University of the city is received. of Cartagena, within the framework of the activity called Speech Therapy Academic Route, organized by the institution. The objective of the activity is to visit equivalent academic programs that promote academic and cultural exchange, to carry out the following activities:

• Child/adult language intervention evaluation workshop at IPS María Cano.
• Workshop Instrumental Evaluation of speech and pharyngeal oral function.
• Visit to practice scenarios at the Bolivarian University Clinic and Corporación Crear Unidos.
• Entrepreneurship and innovation experiential workshop.
• Exchange of research experiences in the fields of breastfeeding and speech therapy in safety at work by teachers.
• Meetings of academic, research and exchange opportunities for students.

«The San Buenaventura University Speech Therapy program trains competent professionals in the approach to human communication and its disorders, based on regulations, ethics and quality in the provision of services in the areas of language, speech and hearing, through scientific and research training with the ability to create and adapt technologies that make their work more effective and efficient.

Through Social Outreach, the Program guides and implements programs to promote communicative health, prevention of communicative disorders, and evaluation and speech-language intervention processes at all stages of the human life cycle, articulated with Research processes».
