Visit MEN for new qualified registrations

The María Cano University Foundation receives a visit from academic peers from the Ministry of National Education to obtain qualified records for the programs: Specialization in Physical Activity at the Neiva campus and Specialization in Disability and Inclusion at the Cali campus.
The academic proposal of the headquarters in the capital of Huila will be accompanied by Dr. Constanza Palomino Devia: a graduate in Physical Education, Sports and Recreation with a master’s degree in Physical Culture Pedagogy and a doctorate in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences. There is also Dr. Juan Fernando Ruíz Ramírez, who has a degree in Physical Education, a specialist in Sports Administration, and a master’s degree in Education and Human Development. These academic peers who visit the headquarters have an important career in the educational sector, which will allow us to justify the relevance of the program for the southern Colombian region.
For its part, the program in the capital of the Valley receives a visit from doctors Gloria Isabel Bermúdez Jaimes: professional in Speech Therapy, master in Disability and Social Inclusion; and María Constanza Segura Otálora: professional in Speech Therapy, master’s degree in Education with Emphasis in Curriculum and Pedagogy.
The specialization in Physical Activity aims to train a specialist with the ability to design and manage projects that respond to the needs of a region and that at the same time generate positive actions in the area of health, thus achieving transformations and changes that promote for the social development of the country and health in general.
The specialization in Disability and Inclusion will train specialists with the capacity to be social transformers, understanding the needs of the population and those required by their environment, exercising leadership functions, humanism, critical thinking, directing their efforts towards comprehensive inclusion in a harmonious manner to the population with disabilities in all spheres of social participation, promoting the improvement of their quality of life and continuous regional, national and international growth, generating glocal impact.
