Visit of academic peers to Physiotherapy Neiva ends

This Wednesday, August 9, the rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, the vice-rector Jorge Albeiro Herrera Builes, the director of planning and quality María Leidy Jiménez Sánchez, the dean Amilbia Palacios Córdoba and the coordinator of the headquarters Diana María Salazar Rojas closed the visit of the academic peers of the Ministry of National Education for the renewal of the qualified registration of the Physiotherapy program in the capital of Huila. For two days we worked on an important academic and administrative agenda that included topics such as: institutional and program presentation, activity programming, training process, visits to internship settings, research, innovation and artistic creation, relationship with the external sector, dialogue with graduates, students, businessmen and professors of the program, financial viability, educational means, as well as the physical and technological infrastructure.
The visiting peers were Mrs. Diana Carolina Dallos Santander, a Physiotherapy professional with experience in the clinical area (hospitalization and Intensive Care Unit) and outpatient consultation. With skills in the evaluation, intervention and follow-up of patients with alterations at the osteomuscular, neurological and pulmonary cardiovascular level; He has teaching training and teaching and research experience in teaching and practice in hospitals of III and IV level of health care. He also has a specialization in Physiotherapy in Critical Care from the Corporación Universitaria Iberoamericana and a master’s degree in Educational and Social Development from the National Pedagogical University. and Mr. Carlos Andrés Quiroz Mora is a physiotherapist from the National Sports School, has a specialization in Neurorehabilitation from the Autonomous University of Manizales, a master’s degree in Neurorehabilitation from the same institution, a master’s degree in Epidemiology from the Free University of Cali and a doctorate in Health of the University of the Valley.
